Alexander Sierra has a diverse background. He started his career at an early age, in sales. He continued to work while going to school until he obtained his Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida. Alex landed a job at the university, doing research for NASA and the U.S. Military. He worked on the testing and design of Micro Air Vehicles used in surveillance and Battle Damage Assessment. After graduation, he moved back home to Boston where he worked at an MIT startup where he was quickly promoted to Sales and Operations Manager. He then obtained his MBA at the University of Massachusetts -Dartmouth-, while working as a Manufacturing Industry Consultant with the world’s largest machine manufacturer. In 2010, he joined the Harvard Graduate Consulting Club (HGCC) while he was earning a Masters in Finance from Harvard University. What will eventually become Sigma Ridge, started as a spinoff of the HGCC. Since then, he has consulted or been employed by startups and billion dollar organizations and has managed operations as large as 13 different countries with 125 direct reports. This diverse background has enabled him to gather abundant experience, which has made Sigma Ridge so successful
